The website is up. Please go there to see all the info for this tournament. This tournament promises to be the best of the year. We have many great things planned and hope to have a great tournament. Please email me if you have any questions.
We are only taking the first 100 paid complete entries. Entries are not complete until we have the signed registration form, signed rules sheet and entry fee.
Check the website often because we will be updating it frequently.

Alton Jones will be our emcee for the weigh-in inside the Coliseum. Don't miss this chance listen to what the 2008 BASS Masters Classic Champion has to say and recommend about the lakes around Central Texas.Please go to the South 40 Shootout website to download the registration form and rules sheet. Both have to be signed and returned with your entry fee. We will only be taking the first 100 paid entries and spots are going fast. This is going to be a great tournament!!

Please remember that we are only taking the first 100 paid entries and spots are filling up fast. We will not have a Saturday sign up and all entries are due by 8:00pm on Friday May 15th. But we will most likely have all 100 teams long before the 15th so do not wait to the last minute to sign up. Please check the website for entry forms and rules. I apologize if you tried to get to our website this weekend and had trouble. It is back up and running!!
We are over the 50 entries mark and we are receiving more and more entries every day. Make sure you get yours in as soon as possible to guaranty a spot!!

We are now a week away from the tournament and entries are coming in by the truck load. Please make sure you get your paid entry in before we hit the 100 limit. We will probably get there by Tuesday or Wednesday at this rate.

We are up to 94 at days end. We have several teams that are coming by in the morning so if you are waiting, you better get up there ASAP. As soon as we get the 100th paid team we will be full.
Also, please pass the word around to anyone coming to the weigh-in: The weigh-in will be at 2:30 pm inside the HOT Coliseum. Alton Jones will be giving a talk before the weigh-in so come early and get a good seat. South 40 Shootout

I apologize for the delay but the results are now posted on the website. We will have pictures posted shortly. South 40 Shootout Results On behalf of the South 40 Committee and the HOT Fair, I would like to thank each and every team that fished our tournament and every spectator that attended the weigh-in. Because of your support we generated close to $8000.00 that will go straight to scholarships for students.
Even with the rain, we exceeded everyone's expectations for a first year benefit tournament. Thank you for making this a success for the South 40 Committee and we look forward to having you back next year!!
