2nd Annual Britteny Lindt Memorial Bass Classic

Ramp: Lake Park - Ramp # 2

Format: Open Team / Individual (Anglers Choice)

Entry: $70 Per Boat + $10 BIG BASS Option

Anglers / Teams may register by sending a PM to Scott Gordon or by email at sgbhs@yahoo.com. No money needed to register. All teams will receive a boat number in the order of registration.

This "2nd Annual Britteny Lindt Memorial Bass Classic" is sanctioned by the "Grapevine Tournament Series" and quailifies towards the 2009 Grapevine Series Championship.

Last years event gathered a great deal of media coverage and for the first time we are recruiting sponsors to donate to our raffle. All donations are 100% tax deductible. To make a donatation and become an official sponsor, please contact Scott Gordon at 214-801-2611.

About Britteny Lindt:

On Augist 18th, 2006, Britteny Lindt was tubing on Lake Lewisville when a man, who had been drinking most of the day, ran over Britteny with his boat and killed her.

Because of the substandard water safety laws, this man walked free without spending a single day in jail. He had chosen to drive in circles around Britteny and his wake caused her to fall from her tube and he ultimately drove over her. There is not a law that prohibits circling another watercraft, thus he was found not guilty.

Britteny's parents founded this non-profit group two days after her death with the goal to help save lives on our public lakes and waterways from intoxicated and reckless boaters.

Ted and I are planning on fishing again this year.

Ill take you up on that offer! And i can get some good info from the fisherman! Well do i need to do anything for you as co-director?

If you can, try and arrive before 7:00am to assist with the launch. Then, you can help check-in the anglers when they arrive for the weigh-in and maybe help "bump" the bass on the bump board.
