The South 40 Committee of the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo will have it's first annual "South 40 Shootout" May 16th, 2009.
1st place will be a guaranteed $5000
Big Bass will pay $500/$250
Entry fee fill be $150 per team plus optional $20 for big bass
We will check out/in at the Twin Bridges ramp.
Weigh-in will be a pull through at the HOT Coliseum.
More details to come shortly.

This is your second post? If you had more post more people might be interested in fishing this. However, it sounds pretty interesting is there a site for this event? Me and the wife might be interested in this!
can't catch fish if you arent at the lake...go fish!!!

This is just my second post!! I am on the committee that is putting this tournament on and we thought it would be best to post under our event name.
This is going to be a very classy tournament with the weigh-in at the coliseum. It should be very fun!!
We will have a site up and running soon. You are more than welcome to email me and I will keep you updated.

This is probably going to be limited to the first 100 teams to sign up, so I will get the registartion forms out as soon as I have them!

it has tons and tons of flooded brush and timber out to about 8 foot depth. awsome looking cover.
