We purchased a Nitro Z6 w/115h Merc in July. I noticed about a month ago that the trailer tires are wearing even on the inside of the tire on both sides. I was told by a couple folks it was because of the boat is to heavy for the trailer. Is this true and is this a known problem with Nitro trailers?

I personnally have not heard of trailer problems with Nitro, You will need to take the boat back to the dealer and converse with him about this problem, if this is a new purchase and not a used unit. It could be that the axel is turned around backward, sometime crawl under the trailer and look for a direction arrow on the axel, it should point forward.

Take a square and on level ground check to see if your tires are at 90 degrees. Sounds like the tires may have too much negative camber.

Check your tire pressure and what kind of tires. the reason I ask is I had a Skeeter SS140 that I had put Carlile(sp) tires on and it did the same thing switched to Goodyear problem solved.
