Due to angler demand, we have added a second one-day division qualifier for Sunday November 9th at Lake Grapevine. Each of these two tournaments are "individual" and are part of the 2009 ABA - American Fishing Tour. This second added tournament will give anglers a significant advantage in the point standings for the 2009 season and to take advantage of some incredible fall fishing prior to the winter break.

DFW ABA - Lake Grapevine (Added)

When: Sunday November 9th

Where: Lake Grapevine

Ramp: Katie Woods (Updated October 30th)

Format: Individual (AFT Tour)

Entry: $70 in Advance / $75 at Ramp (Includes BIG BASS)

Registration will open at 4:00am followed by the safety briefing at 6:00am. Tournament will start at first light with the weigh-in at 3:00pm.

When you say "individual" does that mean there is only one in the boat?

I thought these were draw tournaments.Boater/Co-Angler

Can someone tell me where the Dove Loop ramp is located?

I looked on the TP&W website and it does not show a Dove Loop ramp.Just park names.

Dove Road deadends there off Northwest Highway in Grpaevine. If you are going North on NW highway, go right at dove road and the ramp is a couple of miles down. It is about midlake

I think I'll go find it this Sunday.

I haven't been on the lake in awhile.

"Individual" refers to the tournament format. This tournament is not a "team" event. We do on occasion get a couple of co-anglers for pairing, but it is rare. This trail is not like the Weekend Series where we pair each boater with a non-boater.

You do not have to pay on-line, you can simply pay at the ramp.

FYI, the " TAKE A SOLIDER FISHING " from FT. Hood will also be at the ramp and fishing on Saturday Nov. 8th, make sure to say hello and big thank's to them.

Look me up and I will make the side pot with you and me. I am not trying to start anything or high jack the post. I was only doing a fyi. Soliders in the boat even wounded and being skeered ? It will be an honor to meet those men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. I only wish that those in charge of promoting this event let us know about it as we could have provided many resources. I am not expecting any challenges at the ramp on Saturday.
