Hi new kid in town I live in Bedford now and I just find out how much fun is to be fishing, my question is anybody know a nice pond close by to go fishing, thanks for your feed back. rookie fishing

Chislom Park in Hurst. Bedford Boys Ranch too.

Chislom Park in Hurst. Bedford Boys Ranch too. What he said. For Chislom, take Norwood N off of hwy183, for about 3 or 4 blocks. For Bedford Boys Ranch, take Cent Drive N to Harwood. Left on Harwood for about 2 miles, turn left just past the Post office. Good Luck.  Welcome to the TFF Rookie.

Bream, Bass, Catfish, and during the winter the Texas Parks and Wildlife release Rainbow trout.

I heard about ponds where TPW would do that with trout but I never believed it. Guess I was wrong.
I like to go to Arkansas to trout fishing, they got some of the best trout fishing in the country.
