If you want 1-3 lbers, Joe Pool is perfect. You will catch tons of them there. Grapevine is another good spot for carp and buffs. Fork is hard, unless you fish at Jason's with us.

Any suggestions on where I can catch some carp from the bank in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Where can't you? Almost every largish body of water in the D/FW area has carp. The Trinity River teems with them, as does probably every lake big enough to show up as a blue smudge on the map. It's like they say Down Under: "This is Australia, mate: even the bathtubs have sharks."

Almost any canal, creek, river or lake has carp. Pick one near your house and head out there with a can of corn! Have fun!
