We caught on under the I-35 bridge on a 4" Rattlesnake, on a shakey head, the first of June, prefishing for a bass tournament. Never went back to see if it was a fluke.

Didn't get to go today. Sorry Crappie Dave. My dad has been catching a few in the past couple of weeks out under the bridges. He said in about 14-18 feet of water but it's not like he is killing them out there by any means.

Nope, just morning fishing. He said that they don't seem to want any of the jigs even when tapped with a crappie nibble. He has been getting about 6 or so keepers each trip but on minnows. He said if you like to catch blue gill though the jigs and nibbles are catching a ton of those under the bridge.

Theyre will be a ton of gills were hes talking about holding on those pillars. Fish the shady side of those pillars at veriable depths and you should find some crappie in feeding. Those panfish will use those pillars as a ambush point for baitfish as well as structure collum for shade.Let that jig fall down that pillar or thread-up this means drop jig down to bottom and retrieve your line with your fingers. Its a single pole applacation but when the bites slow you just have to work them!
