1984 mercury 150.I start out of the hole and is find. I get about 100-200 yards and it starts to run out of fuel. Yesterday my buddy went with me and he kept squezzing the primer bulb and it then ran fine.I just about tried everting I can think of. Any suggestions, thanks

Manual fuel pump diaphrams need replaced, the pulse feed hole for the pump is plugged, restricted fuel connector. Do away with the twist in fuel connector, running the hose strait to the fuel pump and be shure the bulb is good.

Replace the bulb. Had the same problem with my 01 Mercury fourstroke. Got a bab bulb the first time and had to get a second one. don't get the cheap ones! Have not had a problem for two years now.
