 Bluechart G2 vision card-worth the money?

Just bought a Garmin 440 chart plotter and it is really a neat piece of work. However they have a Bluechart G2 vision card that provides much greater detail. If anyone has this or similar chart plotters with the extra card, is the card worth the extra dollars(about 300 dollars)or is this just unneccessary bs?
