Yea i've been fishing it the past month or so but there is no brush or anything so its kind of hit or miss but we're about to bait a hole somewhere so the numbers should hopefully go up. And i have been catching them on jigs.

Been meaning to go back to the crappie house sometime soon (been about a month), but haven't heard much coming from there with the water murky. May have to try it again soon.

Can anyone give me some idea where to fish on Weatherford lake? I've never fished the lake. Jim and I are thinking about giving it a try since Benbrook is still closed. We drove by the lake the other day and found the boat ramp and marina.

Well you can try the marina (crappie house) but they dont catch too many of them but the best thing to do is to brush out a hole. I've gone to the crappie house in the past month one guy said he catches them better early in the morning around 6 to 8. But like i said if you have the time you should brush a hole out somewhere and you should have some luck. When a was littler my father brushed out a hole and we use to slay them in the summer. About 20 feet should do the trick since the true texas heat is approaching.

Yea the water color isnt too bad its pretty green for the most part. Thank God, the rain has died off. I was talking to one man and he said earlier in the morning he has been catching them from 6 - 8.

Well, that's good to hear. When I get done working through this coming weekend, may either hit Weatherford barge or LL Barge just to get a few more slabs.

Weatherford is one of only a few lakes around pool, and probably hasn't seen much rain the past 10 days to 2 weeks. Maybe it's finally settling out.
