The Fort Worth Anglers Club will be hosting an open tournament on July 22nd at the FWAC property at 6614 Sandy Beach Road on Eagle Mountain Lake. First Place is garanteed for $1000 with other places based on the number of entries. Entry fee is $40 including big bass. There will be a fish fry later on the same day($4) and all are invited to attend. For information you may call Billy King at 817-319-1689 and tell him that Larry Tatum sent you. Everyone come out and see the full lake and our FWAC property.

Is this a team or individual open tournament?

Sorry for the slow response, it is an individual tournament, however, you can fish more than one to the boat as long as everyone is a paid participant.

What is to say there are 4 paid entries in the boat and it would make better sense to combine the fish for a chance to win first? It has been done in the past. It should state only (2) anglers in the boat only.....Just a suggestion.

That is why we expect honest people. All fisherman are honest, right.
We also have Rule 10: Polygraph test may be given at the discretion of the tournament committee. Guys we don't pay enough to expect someone to risk their ability to fish in tournaments by cheating their fellow fishermen. One failed poly generally will put an end to most tournament fishing. Granted fisherman will cheat, however, we can't stop cheating without losing fishermen who may not be able to fish in their own boats because they don't own one. You are welcome to call our TD at 817-319-1689 with your concerns. This is a fun tournament come on out and fish. Thanks.

Leslie Kennedy was the winner with appxly. 9.6 lbs. If he cheated he had to beat the lie detector, Leslie fishs this lake during the workingman tournies as well as many other tournaments on this lake and several others(Bass Champs and BASS Federation) in this area. I don't think he would jeopardize his tournament standings by cheating in this tournament.
