Guys and Gals, it's getting close to that time once again. If any of you were there last year, I know you wouldn't want to miss this years and for those of you who weren't there, you just have to be there!!
We also would like to invite all you TFFer's out there to join us for our 2nd Annual Fish Fry..
Due to flooding the location has changed to:
Look Out Pavillion Blora (Belton Lake) 23rd of June 2007 11:00 AM Cooks have to be there early
I've had the pavillion reserved for some time now and I sure hope by the 23rd the park will be opened for business again. It is also the last day for our 1st Annual Hybrid Contest.. To make this years gathering successful like last years, we have to contribute a little of something.. LOL
At the pavillion there's a large grill in place, electricity and garbage containers. I'll try and make a list of items that I think would be needed and if you see that I've missed something, please add it to the list. Also items that you would like to bring to the fish fry...
Fryers Peanut Oil Fish Seasoning/Batter Hot Dogs Hot Dog buns Mustard/ketchup Baked Beans Chips Appetizers Ice Drinks Beer Side dishes Dessert Plates, Fork, Knives, Napkins Serving utensils for dishes Aluminum Foil Pot of rice (Frank) Fire Extinguisher (F4F) Charcoal(F4F) Teriyaki Chicken (F4F) Shoyu/Soy sauce (F4F)
That's all I can think of for know.. Just add to the list if you want..

John, I have one three gallon peanut oil here at the house, I think, also will we need trash bags? I can bring my fryer it need be, but the pot is one of those bigguns that you do a turkey in. Still thinking on other stuff. How about some activities for the kiddos. I have a 7 in 1 game set I will bring.

Peanut oil has the highest flame point. I believe. Maybe just do a disclaimer or put the info out on the JUne BB blog.

I think they provide the trash bags. Some entertainment for the kids would be great. We always use peanut oil for the high smoking point and you don't have to change it as often. If there is someone with allergies they need to tell us and we can set up another fryer with different oil if need be.

Please try to limit this to this topic so it won't get too huge. We can BS on the other thread.
