Nope. Went out yesterday and didn't even get bit. That doesn't happen often, but it did yesterday. Spent from 7:00am to around 1:00pm fishing for crappie mostly and not one single little tap.

Spent a good deal of time looking for sandies, but didn't fish for them much as I couldn't even find them.

I even circled the boat a few times thinking that they were right behind me and if I stopped or turned around real quick we could load the boat. They weren't there either.

Good news is the lake looked real nice with water in it. Although it was very chocolaty looking. Lots of floaters, specifically on the west end of the lake.

I checked every single crappie location, plus looked shallow...and every single sandie location I know (except for the bubbles) and didn't even mark very many fish. And the ones I did mark..didn't bite.

Rough day. But it's going to get better. We have to keep in mind that the areas the fish were hanging out in a month and 1/2 ago have just had about 12' of water dumped on them. It will take them some time to adjust.

Then again..maybe I just wasn't holding my mouth right.
