Anyone fish for flatheads in the san antonio area or surrounding areas within 60 miles? Looking to find some bank fishing spots since I don't have a boat.

Medina lake(dam area), Lake Mc.Queenie (marina), Canyon (crappie pier), if you fish Caliveras or Braunig you will catch mostly channel cats.

Thanks. Have you caught any in the 10lbs or more range in any of those areas?

Not on rod and reel but My friend and I did pull out a 20# off our trot line last summer in Medina the trot line runs from the bank to an anchor 150' out and the cat was caught right in the middle the anchor 150' out is only in about 10' of water so even thought it wasn't deep we still caught lots of fish off that line.

Tight lines and God bless!
