Brownwood Bass Club Open tournament will be on Sunday April 1st, 2007. Hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Entry fee is as follows: Open division - $35.00 big bass is included and 1st place is a Guaranteed $1200.00. Ladies Division - $15.00 with option of $5.00 for big bass pot for a total of $20.00 and 1st place is guaranteed $50.00. Junior Division(16 years old and younger) - $10.00 with option of $5.00 for big bass pot for a total of $15.00 and 1st place is guaranteed $50.00. ONLY ONE DIVISION MAY BE ENTERED BY AN INDIVIDUAL

It is a 3 fish stringer with the weigh-in line opening up at 2:30 pm and closing at 3:00pm sharp. Only one Big Bass place can be won by a contestant with 3 places paid as 50%, 30%, 20%
Registration is at Mountain View on March 31st from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and then again on April 1st. from 5:00 am to 6:00 am

Last year Cash places were paid out to 20th place and prizes were given out down to 80th place, with $100.00 13th place bonus

The Lake is low but the fish are biting good right now. With the full moon on the weekend of the tournament, the bass should be in full spawn. The temps right now are from 59* to 64*

Fishing is still picking up with fish in the 7 lb range coming on spinnerbaits shallow.

Recent rains have Lake Brownwood on the rise! It has been raining all day today with even more above the lake on the watershed. It could make the Brownwood Bass Clubs open tourney an interesting one!

Lake Brownwood has come up almost 3 feet this week alone and is still rising! It will be very interesting this weekend!

Where can I get a copy of the rules? I was on the lake this past week and wanted to know if it was off limits
