Nothing better than being on a good C-rig pattern! Absolutely love finding them stacked up on a point, and sniping thrm with a C-rig. I have seen more gadgets specifically marketed for C-rig than prob any other type of bass fishing. Was absolutely amazed when braid first came out, and we used it for this out on (Fayette Co reservoir) in the early 90's. But it does make a big difference on the rod, go (long, heavier action than normal, and a fast tip). I don't know what all the super secret tips that people are using these days, but I learned something a couple years ago that blew me away. My fishing mentor and I were on a heavily wooded lake, and he said he was going to use a C-rig. You couldn't cast in any direction without going over a tree. When he would bring the weight up over a branch it would make contact, and he would then pull it over. The fish would crush the bait! Never ever thought about fishing a c-rig in timber, but I learned something that day.

Falcon Lowrider in the “Lizard Dragger 1” or “Lizard Dragger 2” (a little stiffer) model works great and doesn’t break the bank.
