Wife with a 5 digit bonus is a plus for sure.

I make a lot of money for my company so YES, every year that I make them millions they break me off a good chunk or I won’t make them millions anymore. My salary keeps me showing up thru the year, the bonus keeps me coming back. To hell with company keeping it all for the few fat cats at the top, share or I go elsewhere. Pretty easy formula for all.

Merry Christmas.

I gave out $500 gift cards this year and didn't get a single thank you, better to give than receive I suppose.

That’s too bad. I think a lot of times an employee is incapable of seeing the big picture. 500 a pop can really add up when you count up all the employees.

I always gave out about a two week paycheck for their christmas bonuses for most and three weeks for managers. I found the best workers ,for me always thinked me, the others not so much, they thought they were owed the money.

The worst thing I thought were the laptop bags. Most of the assistants made like 30k a year back then and laptops were still real expensive. So they had a bag for something they could not afford to buy lolz

Very generous on your part. Don't worry about the thank you's, hopefully they will come in the form of increased productivity, attendance and positive attitudes.

We get a production bonus every week that this year has ranged from 150% to as high as 275% of our hourly wage with overtime, that includes "salaried" employees as well. It's been a good year!

True, bonuses come after the new year when the numbers are settled.
