Hey there anglers, just a reminder that the Corpus Christi Boat Show has moved back to the American Bank Convention Center and starts this Thursday and runs through Sunday the 21st.
CC Boat Show times are: Thursday: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The CC Boat Show, has something for every one. It will have boats as well as kayaks, and everything from marine supplies to tackle manufacturers to guides to over 70 booths with stuff you can't find at the mall.
Each hour there will be Door Prizes given away.
Each day there will be an LCD HD Flat Screen TV given away.
Each day there will be some top knotch seminars, with several planned on Saturday and Sunday, including some dealing with my favorite subject: Trophy Trout. Here is a list of the scheduled seminars: ( http://www.ccboatshow.com/services.html )
Rockport Rattler will have a booth and we will be having some specials, as well as introducing the new RR QuickLocks and our Silver and Gold Rattling Spoons. Since none of our Dealers, at this time, carry the 2/0 size RR hooks, I'll also have some 2/0 Black/Gold Eyes on hand. This has been the RR of choice for Team Rockport Rattler Pro Staff winning several Saltwater Tournaments in 2006.
For the Freshwater anglers we'll have plenty of the Redhead/WildEye Rockport Rattler jigs which has been a favorite for the fresh water angelrs for catching bass from Texas:

to Wisconsin:

Bob's Custom Tackle will be sharing our booth and will provide a reel cleaning service while you enjoy browsing around the Show, and he will also have fishing line w/ free spooling services, specials on custom soft plastics to custom rods to name brand rods to off shore rigs and flounder gigging rigs.
Many an angler, from the novice to the pro, always has questions about old or new terminal tackle rigging, from the tried and true to new products and techniques, from specific bay systems and their structure to the best times of year to fish them; and - it is easier to give more detailed answers in person. So stop on by and let's talk some fishin'.

This morning I had the pleasure to meet Loy Moy from Kistler Rods, who will be helping Bobs Tackle Shop with his part of our booth and found out that he will be working the booth with us over the four day show. I didn't realize that Kistler was a favorite of some fresh water anglers as well as some saltwater anlgers.
Kistler will have specials on all of their rods, including their popular SW rods - from the Wader Special 6' 6", Corky rods, Tails & Topwaters 6' 8", Snook Special 7' 6', to their new magnesium and heliums 7 ft'ers.
I can promise you that there will be a lot if Fishin' Talk at this booth at the CC Boat Show.
