FFI Texas Council is hosting a fly fishing fair on April 20th from 9am-4pm at Brazos Park East in Waco, Texas. No matter your level of experience, this event will offer a little something for everyone. We'll have FREE classes and presentations on topics like casting, rigging, gear, tactics, and fly tying for beginners and advanced anglers alike. There will also be food trucks, beverages, vendors, and activities for the kiddos. Oh, and did we mention the Bass-on-the-Fly kayak tournament. Grab a friend or the whole family and make plans to join us for a fun day along the Brazos River in downtown Waco, TX!

I actually commented earlier this morning, but for the first time - it's not showing up! Where can we get more information, like rules etc ... ? How is the attendance coming along now?

To register for the Fly Fishing Tournament, go to the Texas Council FFI site and download the Fish Donkey app on your phone.
You will need to watch a short video on how to enter a fish into the tournament, then you can register.

Attendance is still low, but there is time to register still, and the first 25 to register get a gift box of flies.
