Side Pot—$20 per Boat Pays $250 each day for 3.33 lb bass (or closest) weigh (1) fish only
1. Fishing will be by casting with artificial baits. No trolling allowed. Trailering will be allowed, except to water not accessible by boat from the main lake. 2. Electric depth finders and trolling motors will be allowed. 3. Only fish caught on Lake Texoma will qualify. 14 inch minimum length with mouth closed. Five (5) fish limit per day/per team. All fish will be measured on Little Dixie Bass Club’s flat board. Smallmouth, largemouth and spotted bass ONLY. 4. ALL STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS WILL BE OBSERVED AND ALL BOATS MUST MEET Coast Guard regulations as to equipment. 5. All fishing must be from boats. No tubes allowed. No fishing within 25 yards of another boat. No boat may approach within 15 yards of any other boat except to render aid in an emergency. Both team members must fish from the same boat. 6. Tournament Times will be Saturday, October 21, 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. : Sunday, October 22, 6:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Official clock will be at headquarters. 7. Life preservers will be worn and kill switch attached while boat is on plane. 8. All fish, except trophy bass, become the property of Little Dixie Bass Club. 9. In case of a tie, the team having the largest number of fish will be deemed the winner, with the loser dropping to the next place. Second tie breaker will be by a coin toss. 10. Little Dixie Bass Club may have spotter boats on the lake at anytime. 11. The Little Dixie Bass Club will have a person at the front of the weigh-in line to receive protests about fish before they are weighed. 12. All efforts should be made to keep your fish alive, as 1/10 of a pound is deducted for each dead fish. No iced fish may be weighed. 13. Little Dixie Bass Club will not be responsible for illegally parked vehicles. 14. All participants are subject to a polygraph examination. Any team failing the polygraph will be disqualified. Consumption of alcohol before being polygraphed will result in disqualification. 15. Mail-in entries must be received by October 17, 2023. tournament entries will be accepted until 7:00 a.m. Saturday, at the tournament headquarters. 16. LATE PENALTY - One team member must be inside the check-in corral with the team’s fish before the tournament ending time to weigh in, failure to do so is disqualification for that day. 17. All entrants must check in at the tournament headquarters prior to fishing to receive weigh-in instructions. Headquarters will be open October 20th, 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and October 21th, 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. 18. NO BOAT CHECK. FIRST CAST AT 6:30 A.M. 19. Any change in partners must be reported to Tournament Headquarters PRIOR to the start Saturday morning. After that time no changes are allowed.
ENTRY BLANK Enclose a $140.00 check or money order for each two-man team (includes $10 Big Bass) and mail to LITTLE DIXIE BASS CLUB, P.O. BOX 454, DURANT, OKLAHOMA 74702. We, the undersigned, relieve the Little Dixie Bass Club and all sponsors of all liability for personal injury or loss of, or damage to, equipment and persons during this tournament.
