The Border Bass Battle has been going on for a few years and has turned into a big event in Del Rio/Lake Amistad
Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q & Bud Light's
Border Bass Battle Rocking the Border
is a fundraiser for the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce & Convention & Visitor's Bureau!
This is an 8-hour Big Bass Competition with over $25,000 in Cash & Prizes (based on 300 participants).
PAY's 3 Places every hour (payouts based on # of participants)
1st - $1750 Every Hour,
2nd - $750 Every Hour,
3rd - $250 Every Hour;
PLUS pays: Overall Biggest Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Youth Division (15 and under day of the event!

How many regulars here on the forum will be coming down to Del Rio for this event?
I’d imagine I’ll get all of Amistad I want the week before at the SIT.

Entry fee is $125 per angler and the March 2021 Border Bass Battle Payout is attached.
Biggest fish 8.90lbs caught by Andy Whitehead payed out $4,750
