I put my Shimano Curado 300DSV on it with 50# Izorline to go toss it around at the city park with about an ounce of weight tomorrow just to see if Jared Lintner wasn't BS ing. It's stiff and it makes good long casts with a 3/4 ounce weight. I want to try my Shimano Calcutta TE 200DC and a Calais 200DC with it next. This could replace about 6 of my fishing poles.
