Just curious if any of you have been able to to make a hard swimbait "more weedless" ?

If so, what treble hooks do you recommend?
I ask because I cannot even find a so-called weedless treble hook.

I used these . You can put them on so they don't completely block the tip of the hook like they are in the pictures . https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bas...1Les_BHSDgaAmOCEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

One thing Ive done successfully in the past was to cut off the leading hook on the treble hook. It still leaves two on each treble but now as you retrieve it theyre kinda tucked up against the lure and much less prone to snagging on weeds. Im sure the hookup ratio is affected but I cant say how much. Where I was fishing it didnt much matter as my hookup count was zero as long as I was dredging the lake for weeds. When youd like you can replace the treble hook and return to a three pronged attack. I know its not the preferred method but in a pinch itll work. And trebles are cheaper than a bunch of weedless lures.
