This is one of the reasons I don't like coming on this site. There is someone who always complains about everything. Like someone else said if you can do better then go for it. The tournament was great, the music and entertainment was great, the police and game wardens did a great job, and all the volunteers that worked their buts off.

Cool, will you then please show me the 11-50th Day 2 results. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Awesome tournament! I live 10 minutes from Fork and fish it regularly, there is limited cell service as well as Internet but that's quite alright with me. Today's society is a want it instant society and when they don't get it they are quick to complain about it.
I understand the frustration but realize the challenges.
Thanks to all who had a part in bringing this to Lake Fork!

Mark, I won't put down the tournament, it was awesome! For those of us that were following it from home we noticed a few things they can hopefully improve next year. Those of us online were frustrated by actual technical bugs, had absolutely nothing to do with reception, it had to do with them not testing out the website ahead. They basically did a production test some things got fixed on the fly. Like they removed the cool bass by bass update at bottom of live results in order to remove the 10th, 20th, 30th... not showing bug. So they had to remove some cool features in order to get other things to work. They also removed the live results link from page, but all of us already knew the link and they didn't shut it down until today (which I agree with the final day black out). I also wish they had a better final results page, not just blog posts that are missing some things (like the 11-50th day 2 results).

No big deals, but for what is probably a $3-5 mm event they can maybe spend $2k on the website for some little improvements.

I'm not for sure, but I think they brought in a special tower/antenna.

I have noticed reception has improved a bunch at Fork last year or two, I have always been on Verizon. 2+ years ago there was nothing, now I have LTE almost everywhere.

Gulf States and Octagon do a great job.

were you following it all day Friday and Saturday like some of us? I notice you never posted in one of our live discussion threads. At least everyone that was on TFF talking about what was happening with live updates as it happened acknowledged the technical problems. That said it is nothing to yell at them about, they know what their own problems were and I bet they are fixed next year. Some of you are within bounds to attack the messenger and how the message was presented, but the message is valid. If you don't think so, then you weren't on live Friday and Saturday.

Just a thought if the top 10 did not change on day 2 what does the other 11-50 th mean in your findings. I mean it is not like there is Vegas odds being played out here.

And I watched the entire weigh in on my iPhone today without a glitch...

not sure what you mean? 11-50th results day 2 didn't matter? like they don't matter to those of us that want to look? don't matter to the fisherman? don't matter for checks? don't matter to the sponsors? all the above?

Next year put one of those radar dome helmets on Hops head and let him transmit live coverage from the water.
