Man if I didn't feel sorry for you before with your measly three 8-lbers this year, I really feel for you now that you had to *gasp* use a soft plastic to yank this DD out of the lake.  Jokes aside way to kill it so far this year by us mere mortals' standards! Hell of a fish.

I'll go ahead and say that I will GLADLY trade your "[censored]" year so far for mine anytime. You obviously don't know how good you have it man. That's a nice fish. I couldnt even fathom complaining about catching only a few 8lb bass (better than my PB by the way and I've been a bass fisherman since I was about 5) and then complaining about no DD's this year?!?!(until now of course) I would KILL for one! Anyways my point is... Count your blessings man. Your bass fishing could be ALOT worse.

F-462 I have no idea if its ok to fish private waters. All my fish and those who I personally know that compete all fish public/open lakes.

no I cant call an all-clear yet. I have found a secondary lake that is fishing a tad bit better. If I can get another 24" I will calm down a bit. But, things are not "right" yet but I think it will all change for the better in a couple of weeks.
