We stopped in his place one day a couple years ago to ask about a trailer for sale and the lot rent and he told us to move the truck we were parked in his spot! We moved the truck to a different park. I wouldn't want to deal with that guy every weekend at all. Woulda been nice cause that's a great ramp.

I agree. Bill never talked much in the many years I went there.
About the only time I can remember him talking to us was when one of my friends tried to buy two or three packages of soft plastics and charge them to a credit card. Bill got bent out of shape, raised his voice, and acted like a real jerk over it. The thing is...the reason my buddy was out of cash was because he had spent it all at Rainswood. We had been staying there a couple of nights and eating two meals a day in the restaurant. We never went back.

towards the end i found him to be alot more pleasant. The credit card i will admit was funny. i do remember him getting bent out of shape if you had to use a cc. I was in there so much over the years he was cool to me. I just knew where to park, say hello and would pay compliments when warranted. Back in the day he was a heck of a fisherman.
