the first one is an amur carp 1m long and 27pounds weight (catched by a friend of mine)

a carp catched by my self. 62cm long, weight: 10pounds

a pike catched by my self (looks small, but 71cm long, weight: 7punds)

and at least, a zander, 62cm long, weight: 5pounds

the zander (walley) taste really good. if want to buy it in a mart, i have to pay nearly 20euro for 2 pounds, ictched it for 2euro;). the other fishes taste good, but the first 2 only in the month of october-december. other catched fishes are big catfishes (up to 2,10m and 100-180pounds), eel, little basses, and lot lot more fishes (i dont know the english names of it), but maybe i ca�n find some photos to post.

hey karlosito, was ist los. mein name ist John Walker und ich komme aus Dallas, Texas. i was stationed in Wurzburg und Schweinfurt fur zwei jare. mein deustch ist nicht so gut anymore. wo ist Stralsund. those are some nice fish. there was a farmer in a villiage called Gerlachsheim that had a pond(very small lake) with rainbow trout(ferile oder verile)spelling? and carpfen(carp). you had to pay a certain amount per kilo of fish caught. it was the only fishing i was able to do while i was there. oh, Gerlachsheim is near Tauberbischofsheim. i never knew they had walleye in Deustchland. awesome. take care. thanks. stralsund is 270km (maybe 160miles) north of berlin, very close to the baltic sea. in the baltic i can catch really big pikes. the tallest i know was about 1,35m tall and about 30-32 pounds. really monsters;)

Those are some nice fish you and your friend are holding in those photos, thanks for coming to this forum and sharing them with us. Do you have any photos of those large catfish you mentioned, many of us like to see fish not native to our waters.

Welkommen!! (Hope I spelled it correctly). I took two years of German in high school, but my 30 year reunion is this year. Nice fish, especially the zander.

@GOFISH: they love the fat-herring, thats why they beome so heavy and tall. its not only salt-water. near the coast is brackish-water, so they can live there. there's also big zander of one 1meter tall (but not soo often like the pikes of this sizes). i will try to catch some of that monsters with jerbaits. i forgot, german is a difficult language, soits not bad what u wrote. and i hope my english is not to bad, so u can understand what i write ( i have to learn a lot, maybe i can make an envirtesment in anaheim california from august:) )

Wie gehts? Here's a picture of my friend with a nice muskellunge (esox masquinongy) he caught a few winters ago in Pennsylvania. The fish was 1.38 m long and estimated weight was near 23 kilo. He released it. Howard Wagner is his name and he's a well-known musky fisher in the U.S.
