I saw them chasing shad shallow yesterday.
Bye, I am off to the lake to hit them at the crack of dawn.
I love the sand bass fight even more than the lmb

Yep...month of May is the best from banking. Literally madness with them chasing shad. Shad start to spawn and predators right behind them.

I was out at Goody's (at the end of the 751 bridge) early this morning casting small jigs off Goody's dock for whatever would bite. Using a 6-1/2 foot spinning rod and reel with 6-lb. test Spiderwire and 1/8 oz. twister tail jigs under a bobber. Every sandie I caught was big enough to keep, including some real magnums! Love the light action fishing for magnum sandies! Released them all to continue the spawn.
