Crappy quality is more like it I've had Walmart gear that's held up better. If you're breaking reels they're the bcx or s series turds. If you "broke" some Swedish made reels I'll pay shipping send them to me and I'll send you a video of them working perfect again 2 days later.

Crappy quality is more like it I've had Walmart gear that's held up better. I guess that's the reason the ones I have from the 1950's to now hold up to almost daily fishin!!!!

Yikes. Im with the majority here. I beat the [censored] outta all of my abus. They stay in my truck in the weather and sun. All i ever have to do is ocasionally rinse them and oil them. For fresh water i aint ever gonna buy anything else but sweeden abus.
