I did not make up that method but I do like it here's the original link where I learned about Trex'ing a steak http://www.nakedwhiz.com/trexsteak.htm this guy has all kinds of awesome grilling info. Thanks for the link Monte....that is a great link. You're welcome give it a try they are awesome!!!

 2 Inch Prime Cowboy Cut Ribeye with all the fixings everything was grilled on the Big Green Egg.
