It looks great! I made one similar to this one. I have found it's the water temp that's the problem. I used a 5 gallon insulated water tank to try to keep the water cool. The kind you see on construction trucks. I even dropped the pump down 10' deep in my slip to get cooler water and added a aerator. It will keep minnows for a month during the cooler months but when summer gets here they only last about 3 days. I also found out they will clog your drain tube if you don't screen it. We also had problems with ferrets and coons learning how to open minnow buckets, I have seen birds land on mine and bob for minnows when the lid is off. Try to put a latched lid on it,I might even try to go deeper with the pump this summer and see if it works better. Good Luck.

I've thought about that too Filletmaker. Warm water and minnows don't mix. I'm stocked up with frozen liter bottles that will help a little as long as I can get down to the slip to change them regularly. I might have to do like EZ and get better at using artificial lures during the summer.
