maybe it was by the grace of god i got away. maybe he wasnt trying to bite cus theres a good chance he could be used to people. lol cmon guys i thought u were nice here. Maybe not all of it is completely true because of the adrenaline rush i had from being scared but to my best knowledge thats what happened. i remember the gator with my foot in his mouth wide open , i remember him snaping shut, i remember falling down after he lunged at me. lol i know theres skepticism cus i was skeptical that it even happened until i calmed down and noticed people surrounding me. damn u dont have to be mean about it xD. why cant be happy with im okay lol. I bet youre those types of guys who are like, " gators are slow it could never happen to me" and "i know everythong about alliators cus i live by them and i watch gator boys on animal planet." Theres stories of little boys escaping from grips of alligators unharmed even ater they were drug in the water and they didnt have a scratch on them. dont be "Those guys" lol cus nobody likes them

pictures of bite marks in leg would be great, kinda hard to believe you yanked your leg out of a gators bite...

yeah i know lol. but again i waslucky enough to have my heavy air jordans on with my long nike socks. when he jumped he came with his mouth open and my foot not my entire leg was in his mouth. i mightve said leg when i was rushing but i pulled it away before he snapped his jaw

I'm calling BS on this one, you are telling me shoes with long socks are the reason your foot is ok? If a gator that big gets a hold of you there would be something to show for it, heck even with boots you are bound to get a bruise at the least.

Now if the gator tried to take a swipe at you or maybe hit you with his tail I can see that, but your foot being in his mouth and no wounds? Find that hard to believe.

The fact of the matter is that it was a close call and you are very lucky to not have been injured or worse.
That said, the incident needs to be reported and even now isn't too late. Contact TPWD and tell them what happened and where.
I don't even want to think what could happen to some small child that gets too close to the waters edge. That gator needs to be removed!
