OP Magged Out TFF Guru Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 16,462 The 325	We ran out too NastyWater and loaded up on bait. Hit up stripes for some drinks & snacks and we were on our way. Started setting up rods about 7 not 30min into it. Mamas rod gets takin down, I mean takin down Got a massive blue within 5 yards of the bank, spit the gami and it was gone Kept fresh ing up bait every 45 minutes with no takers. Grasshopper drove out and met us, soon as he pulled up one of my PA's goes down but no hook up 23 hit, GH was on his way to wet some lines. Nice meeting you yesterday Grasshopper Frey probably 30 min after he left the 27 took down a rod. At this point I was getting ready too call it a night. Tired, hungry, my girls were crashed in the truck. Under the moonlight, could see one of my PA's getting tapped,tapped. Then BAM! Rod tip almost touched the water The Tug of War was on. Got the fish too the shoreline where I could see the weight. Thought I had a Big Flathead. Big Blue finally showed itself. Didn't want nothing to do with me, made 5-6 strong surges absolutely soaking me. Finally was able too slide down the bank and lip her <---Bad Idea... After that Battle, we called it a night.
