Checked him when I first saw it. Not even 10 posts. Writes like woman or a 18 yrs old. If he/she has dogs, I'll eat them. I haven't had for a while.

I have to admit that I was naive to the scale of it. I always knew there were cheaters and other scofflaws, but I didn't know there were people cleaning out entire creeks of fish...

Nobody is trying to be a jerk about these fishing spots. We just know what happens after they are divulged and it happens very fast.

Just got a report that a large group of people were busted at Creek X last night. Game Wardens caught them with cast nets and a gillnet.

1 day. That's all it takes. Buckets and buckets and buckets of fish. They were using totes as well.

Good luck everybody...

See you next year...

Was just at creek W. Didn't catch anything in the 30 minutes we were there but the guy next to me was catching every cast. I was using a 2 inch chartreuse go go minnow and chartreuse bobby garland stinger. He was using a little 1 1/2 inch fluke on a 32nd oz jig. I guess he felt bad for me cause he gave me one of his jigs as I was leaving. Nice guy.
I did fish there early this morning and caught 3 during my last 10 minutes.
I'll head back early tomorrow to beat the crowds

Baffinbay, precisely only one night. Lot of dead fish I found got ripped gill covers near the bottom. I thought it was strange the wounds were similar. The hole I found fish today has structure in it, so they couldn't do it. Good to hear they were busted.

Got a late start at Rowlett Creek this evening. Ended up catching dinner. Which is fine with me, I'm not too greedy, and I'm having a good no skunk streak. I need to learn when to stop using a lure that's not working though. What I was just killing them on a couple of weeks ago, wasn't treating me well tonight. Switched to a white inline spinner, and started catching them. Unfortunately, the sun was almost completely down by that point, and I had to walk back to the truck in the moonlight.

But the hybrids I saw on stringers tonight! Some really nice fish being caught.

Nope. Just a couple of sand bass. By the time I figured out what they were hitting, I had to pack up and walk back to the truck.

I hope the price those poachers gotta pay makes them never want to even chance it again. Horrible.

It sounds like they do it for profit, so as long as there's a market for illegal fish, there will be others to take their place.

I am glad they got busted. I was on Rowlet @ the HH last year when a guy got busted keeping everything in his cast net. The GW was watching him the whole time sitting comfy in bush. That was just awesome. I seriously hope these people either learn.
