Iwas Thinking the same thing about the BEER thing  
I am totally against spider rigging because I think its cheating a real fisherman only needs two fishing poles and a 12 pack of beer..
Wow. I didn't realize you had to have a 12 pack be a fisherman. I guess my fishing education is now complete...

Unless I missed something, the original post and the few that followed are as bona fide and classic case of trolling if I ever read one.  Hey T-Dub, when I rig a spider, I like to hook 'em right by one of those hind legs. That way, all those eight legs are dangling out there to entice that crappie. Problem is, they never seem to live very long under the water. Bout 10 minutes max, then it's change baits again. Hard to catch enough spiders to last more than an hour on eight poles. And that moniker reminds me of ole Lester "Roadhog" Moran and the Cadillac Cowboys. I've never been on the military and will catch 25 everyday all day legally. I don't see what what being in the military had to do with crappie fishing. Most of the losers I teach and coach go into the army but have never mentioned crappie fishing when they come back to see me. 25 is 25.

Here's an idea, rather than whining about someone following the law by the book, or feeling like just because you served you are more entitled than others. Why don't you call your congressman an help change the law to allow military personnel the right to bear arms on military bases? I also served in the army and by no means do I feel I should be treated any more special than someone who didn't. 25 is 25 no matter how you get them.
If you like your Spider Rigs you can keep your spider rigs!

That's awesome Ken!!! Sounds like I spent wayyy to much time trying to hook them through the dorsal fin. Hooking them through the eyes didn't go so well either.
