For the record the Texas Water Safety Act and according laws regulating boating are located in the Parks & Wildlife Code (state law)
Just because someone puts out a sign doesn't make it enforceable or in and of itself a violation of actual law.
In order for a sign to be enforceable it must be placed by the state or local controlling entity. If placed by the local controlling entity it must be registered and approved with the state for that particular water body.
A homeowners association is not a government entity and is not entitled to make any law. Homeowners associations violations are civil infractions. There is no law enforcement action to be taken.

. . .and of course, no one is aware that the state can't legally enforce those no wake signs, because it ISN'T a law. It's a resolution. Look it up.
I'm not saying it was right, everyone should go no wake thru a bridge, but the reason the GWs avoid those areas is because those tickets get thrown out of court almost every time. It puts them in a bad position. If the state would just make it a standard law, no wake thru all bridges or posted areas, it would help. I don't always post fictitious statements but when I do I post on Texas Fishing Forum Stay gullible my friends.......
