I may be in your tourney next year, which will give me a full year to practice my cast.

I practice roll cast few times already. I got few pointers at Basspro when I did my fly rod purchase.

moonriver - orvis also offers free fly fishing lessons. the show a few different casts. Basspro and Cabelas I believe also offer free classes. Just FYI.

Made it up on the weekend of the 15th with bassprojd and I had actually never fly fished for trout before then. I have caught everything from bass to carp and buffalo and everything between but never trout. But after some trial and error we got them figured out and I felt like I did pretty darn good haha also ran into t fly and his clients on our way out to the truck. Right after we had said hi to him I was able to stick a pretty good one in an out of the way hole off to the side to end the trip off right!

This next fish was my first fish I landed Saturday morning not long after daylight


And then this last picture was just an awesome looking fish! Probably the coolest rainbow I've ever seen


Caught a lot of smaller fish also but those top two were my best if the trip! Can Wait To Get Back Up there!

Does anyone know did they stock this week? There's been bad weather. I'm thinking of taking a friend next week. If they haven't stocked I might wait till the week after that to give them a chance to stock. Thanks!
