fish are biting, i saw 3 people with about 20+, not sure how long they fished for. I personally got 4 in about an hour. its a good 40 minute hike though, so prepare to camp there to make the journey worth it.

Went out for 2 hours tonight. Didn't see any copperheads or beavers but did get 8 sand bass. Average was probably 11.5in. Caught one dink that was thrown back. White and chartreuse were the on colors tonight. The fish are mostly still towards the mouth but I saw a few guys catching them upstream. Best of luck to anyone going out tomorrow.

Been following these post about Rowlett Creek for years and since I live near the creek I thought I would give it a try, not much water in the creek but thought I would give it a shot. Went to the creek this morning for an hour or so and caught 10 fish, took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to catch them, I caught them on a small jig. Don't know what all the fuss is about this year about there not being a run but the fish are there, go get them.
