There are 2 gates scheduled for 4pm tomorrow for a couple of hours. Prob just to test gates and turbines in anticipation for some near-term generation. I kayak fished from the dam down to shawnee creek area a week ago. As expected, saw just carp, gar and a few cats.

They might start controlling some of the inflow with the Gens it'll be great to see them running for awhile but it should atill fall around peak power usage hours.

Yes, and Red River and Washita before the flow into Texoma are both on a rampage with more to come.

2 generators are running right now.

The lake rose over 1' in 24 hours. May get to see the floodgates open. Maybe. Do a rain dance. wink

I think the floodgates are barely open today. Stepson drove across it this morning and said they were open and river is running bank wide. No generators are running according to COE and the water level below the dam it about 3' higher than it is with everything off.

Yes, I want someone to drive out there to confirm too. I have seen the flood gates open where it is a tiny flow, but the small increase in the water height has me a little dubious. Our vehicle is kaput until the starter get put on that we had to get repaired. It is a tad hard to do in the rain in a gravel drive with no garage.

Is there not a website that show if there is water being released from flood gates on Oklahoma side? I know they do have a website that shows the generation schedule for the Texas side. Need those tubes opened up. Lake is almost 5 foot high now.
