I used to SCUBA dive up there a lot, I can show you some good areas.

My Senior Manager at work owns a lodge there. I'll get him to quiz his guides and let you guys know what I find out.

I don't have any advisors below or above the water, nor did I have the inclination to become a squatter on the lake for the last few weekends. rolfmao Just need a few hours on the water to see where the pedal pushers woot will be trolling their Alambama rigs so that I can plan a route to areas much too far and wind blown for those with flappers to follow without incurring serious crotch chaffing if they trystir rolfmao

Prepare for battle lounge chair fishermen!

See you Friday night. There should be lots of fish caught and let's not forget this is a Charity event that benefits childhood cancer. I have a pattern that will hold up but not sure if it'll be enough to take home the win. Let's see where the chips fall and have a good time.

Well I was all packed a few days early for the classic when I decided to catch and clean a few crappie. While attempting to be a filet master I cut the back of my thumb including two tendons. Had surgery yesterday and now my left hand is immobilized for about 10 weeks and no classic for me. My dad always said you would cut yourself easier with a dull knife, I think he was wrong.

I was getting ready for a fishing trip in high school and cut my tendons on my left hand before going to the lake one night after church. The doctor at the hospital said it would heal itself and after going almost a month with not being able to move my fingers again, i had surgery and was out for about the same amount of time.

Congrats to Robbie's win and Matt's second place finish as he (Matt) upgraded at the weigh in ramp at closing time to finish less than an inch short of Robbie. I couldn't get a full limit and finished with only 4 fish. That clear water was tough fishing for me but I'll be back with a new bag of tricks for next year's dink festival and you two will be singing the blues. rolfmao Had a great time camped out with the Austin guys. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard for so long. What a crew.

First look at Broken Bow

Spent some time just looking at some of the most incredible rocks. Some looked like paintings.

Too much water to check out. Prefishing Friday morning.

Matt reving up his motor on Friday.

Clinton (from Austin) and Josh (Oklahoma)

Dez (SuperNova Lights) What a character! cheers

Beau from Austin! clap

Sunday morning before breaking camp.

I had a great time too Louis! Hanging out with the Austin crew was a blast, Beau, Clinton, Devin, and Dez were great company and good for lots of laughs.

The Texas crew really represented with 3 competitors in the Top 8. It was great meeting so many new faces and seeing a few I had hadn't seen in a while. Thanks to the sponsors and organizers for putting on a great event for an even better cause. Did anyone happen to get a picture of me holding the check and the Big Rig before I lost them both ?? bang
