I've just about decided on ordering some Bee Ready rod holders for the boat. I've got just a few questions, should I go for the heavy duty over the standard? Also, 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 rod holders? Are the adjustable worth the extra money? 18" or 25" riser for my Nautic Star CC boat?

Thanks and sorry for the rapid firing of questions.

In my limited experience with BeeReady, 13 years.
should I go for the heavy duty over the standard?Probably NO, but the biggest I've caught with the rod in a BeeReady is 61#.

Also, 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 rod holders? I like the 1 1/4 you can open them up if you need bigger but closing them is not as easy, at least for me.

Are the adjustable worth the extra money? I prefer the regular non adjustable, but others like the adjustable.

18" or 25" riser for my Nautic Star CC boat? How high do you want your holders to stick up, the higher the more wind the line and rods catch.
Others probably know more, I use a tin boat and have seen a Nautic Star at a distance, a great distance.
