Don't believe everything they post here cause I've seen the parking lot get packed so they must be catching something.

Had not been on here very much.

Here is what I got now. The crappie are the same way they have been the last few weeks. One day good one day bad. Nothing really good going on for me to be post about it. The last thing I want to happen is me post on here and ppl start to say I am lying. I want ppl to get there limit out at the barge but I can't make them bite wish I could would make millions! Lol

Last night I fishing got about 13 with 2 keeper. And 2 bass over 2.5lbs.

Buddy who fishes a lot out there had 12 keepers in the the basket when I left this morning. He had a few given to him.

The buff and carp are moving in really good. Seeing some big ones. Left small cats. And a few sandbass coming in. Nothing like last year.

I'll give it try anyways... Hopefully sat night would be a good night..

I was there last night and a guy was catching them on dough bait inside on the far west opening.

Dough bait catfish doughbait are home made

I make my own dough bait. Bread water cotton seed mill. With what ever flavor they like cinnamon is working right now.

Man if you ask me when I am here I will tell you ever spot that I know and I am getting them at. And what I use how it am doing it. What ever you need to know.

Hey Bigmike. I just wanted to lift you up a bit. You are the best thing to happen to the barge. Don't get me wrong, the other folks that work there are good people too but you actually put others needs before your own. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you taking the time to show me how to tie my jigs on my line properly. No wonder I never had any luck jigging, I had them on upside down. I mean not only did you put brand new line on my reels but you went ahead and took the reels apart and scrubbed them with an electric toothbrush and oiled them. You are always ready to share info on what is biting and what they are biting on. Not a lot of folks take that kind of time and patience with people who are trying to fish. You are a good dude and that is why you are blessed with the gift of catching fish. God is smiling on you! Ok... enough of that. I will be coming to see your ugly [censored] soon. Luv you man!

MMMM Sand bass catching at the barge Oh Ya good stuff......

I've fish the barge many times, Big Mike has always been first one to offer help. All the guys there are awesome and will do what ever they can to help you catch fish, but Big Mike seems to take a few extra steps to help everyone. I've been there fishing for big blues and mike would be catching bait for me while I was rigging out my lines. I've been to other barge's where the people never offer any help at all. They just wanna put in there time and go home. That's why like lewisvlle barge.
