I am on my way to the creek now I don't think I will walk very far down today I have my very first set of glasses on and they are trifocals so if you see a fat guy with a cigar in his mouth acting drunk on the bank it may be me LOL I will post what I find.

Took my dad out for his first time to fish white bass, should have waited til this evening or tomorrow. Lots of fish around but only caught one. Nobody was catching, one group of 3 had two between them, other than that didn't see anything else.

Barometric pressure is jumping, it's rather high now.

Yeah, I figured with that system that blew thru yesterday it would be heading back up quickly this morning. Hopefully it'll even out by this evening so I can give it another shot.

I think the fishing will be fine on the creek if we can get a hard rain to another group of fish. I have caught few females on the creek this month.

Anybody know anything about the fire around the creek yesterday? I'm out of town and my buddy told me they had 2499 closed off yesterday and 5+ fire departments out there fighting a grass or brush fire.

Kidding aside it could happen I was fishing there last Saturday and it was dry under foot. I decided that smoking the cigar was to be done at the creak bank and the butt put out in the water.
I am going out in the morning to see what the rain did for the creek.
