Water should be warming back up a little for Champs/Top 6. Will be interesting to see the weights.

I sure hope your right !!!!
I just don't think the number of bass left in the lake is anywhere near what it was..
Hopefully the fish that have been out roaming the depths will stay up (if the grass gets going)..I'm afraid as soon as that happens----They will open the gates and pull the lake back down. And there goes the grass again, if they pull it fast.
If we don't get some GOOD rains...Amistad could set a new record low....JMO.

I don't think the fish are gone the fish kill is a myth...we caught 20-25 fish a day Friday-Sunday all of them coming from deeper depths than most are willing to fish

Hope they move up. I'm not a 50-60 ft fisherman. Don't have our tourney till May tho...

Really--That's quite a number of fish. I hope your fishing tournaments. You could be making a ton of money. Heck with those kind of numbers your bound to get a check in the Bass champs this weekend. I'll split your entry for half your winnings. I have seen some of the best Amistad tournament anglers come in with no fish this winter..

I am fishing tourney's for sure. Yeah we were fortunate enough to take home the win at the Tech Tourney Steve lol

217 anglers fished BASS Fed Top 6 this week.
Total # of limits caught
Day 1 = 22
Day 2 = 13
Day 3 = 24

Water was warming and fish were moving up to spawn. And the results are the same as they've been all yr. Also interesting to look at Big Bass
Day 1 = 6.53
Day 2 = 6.96
Day 3 = 6.22

Largest weight each day
Day 1 = 15.23 anchored by 6.53 Big Bass
Day 2 = 12.59
Day 3 = 13.77

Most of the fish are gone and females are few and far between. Hope the lake gets a good spawn this yr. Need to raise the water levels and keep there. Amistad is one of the toughest bass fishing lakes in the country.
