My opinion is Maui Jims and Costas in that order.

Amphibia with the vapor lenses. If you fish a lot they would be beneficial bc they float if you drop them in water.

Aren't the costas heavy on your nose because of the glass lens?

I can't tell you what is best for you but I like Kaenon's with the G12 lens for day in day out use and the C12 lens for sight fishing. Incredible clarity and lots of great frame styles.

I don't like the weight of the glass, so I went with the plastic lens Costas and have bought nothing but those for the last 10 years.

I have sight fished a whole lot for many years- used lots of glasses and my eyes do well with 580glass costas. The weight could be an issue for some and after hours on end my ears and bridge of my nose get a little sore. The kaenon is a good lighter weight product that works well. Maui Jim's do well. The costa 580p is pretty good too. The lens needs to be copper or amber based of course and I prefer either no mirror or green mirror. I assume you are asking about fresh water. The c12 light transmission is good for most applications. I have a lighter amber pair of old coasta 580 that I use for sight fishing early, late, or very cloudy days. I have been using the green mirror glass more lately and my eyes seem less fatigued on bright sunny days.

Wish more companies made a quality fit over style glasses. Can't afford prescription sun glasses. I can only find Cacoons at BPS.

For me, no question, I'm sold on the Oakley High Definition Optics shallow blue lenses. I'm on the water too much to use anything other than the best. They're lightweight and provide unparalleled impact protection. From Oakley's patented polarization process and 100% UV light filtering to a wide variety of frame styles and sizes, Oakley has you covered.

Was that comment from the back of the Oakley flyer??
