I have vacation time coming the second week of April and am looking to catch some crappie, but am limited to the bank. Distance isn't a problem, just looking for a good time catching some nice crappie. I was planning on going to lake kickapoo camp, but haven't been able to get a hold of anyone, so if anyone has any other opinions I'm all ears.. Any help is appreciated as always.

Maybe I should've been more specific, looking for a place with a lighted fishing dock that I have a good chance of catching some nice crappie from. Again, any help is appreciated.

Central texas, but distance isn't too much of a factor, I'll fish just about anywhere in Texas. Have been looking into some lighted fishing docks on lbj, just haven't heard much about them.
