My trim guage reads in the middle when I have it all the way down. Is there any way to calibrate the guage? Thanks for your help.

There should be a way to calibrate. Which type gauge do you have? Do you have the owners manual by chance. It should explain how to accomplish it.

What type of motor do you have? On my old Skeeter I had a Yamaha 150 and there was a tilt finger that would slip and I would have to twist it back to where it needed to be and re-tighten the screw. Earlier models had a plastic finger and new models use a metal one.

Its on a 2011 Skeeter with a 225 SHO. I don't know what kind of gauge it is, it says Skeeter on the face but I know they did not make it. Thanks

Check for it where the motor pivots. Raise the motor and look for a little plastic or metal finger. It is adjustable with very little effort.
