 Police SUV stuck in Grapevine

I was eating at Fuddruckers with my family during the storm today 03/15/2014. A police SUV was on the frontage road clocking speeders on the highway. After he clocked one, he attempted to cross the grass onto the highway. He got stuck for at-least 30 minutes...we left before he was able to get unstuck.

Doubt he ws looking for speeders in a storm We watched him. He was on the frontage road, his lights turned on and he started trying to jump the grass to get on 121 south. He got stuck and had his lights on for about 2 minutes while he tried to get unstuck. He finally turned his lights off after he realized he was never going to catch the guy he wanted.

The whole restaurant was making jokes. Some people were joking about calling 911 and telling them there was an SUV stuck in the grass LOL.
I feel sorry for the guy, but it was some funny entertainment.

I was not far from there around that time and before the heavy part of it hit there was an overturned vehicle on North Bound 121. Could it have been related to the call he was trying to get to? Maybe...
