What creek? Where was the creek going?

Could be lots of things. Toxins in water, golden algea, lack of oxygen.

It was navo. The water is moving, but where I could get my boat in last year the water is about 4" now.

Did some of those fish seem fresh dead or perhaps a few days decomposed? Did you seen them below the 380 bridge like the report from last Sunday or were they in other parts of the creek?
I noticed a few dead fish today about 1.5 miles to 2 miles north of the 380 bridge. Had I not read about the fish kill it wouldn't have been enough dead fish to cause much concern. Some of the fish seemed fresh dead to me which makes me wonder if the fish kill is continuing and if it is hitting a bigger section of the creek that just the area below 380.

Can someone educate me to which creek is navo. I assume you are talking about lewisville but I don't see it on the map. Very disconcerning that someone would dump toxins in the water so close to a spawning run.

I was at Little ELM creek and 380 last night (3/17/2014) right before it dumps int Lake Lewisville, where I was there were HUNDREDS of dead fish in both directions of the creek edge on both sides as far as i could see. all species, carp, cats, gar, crappie, largemouth, and tons of white bass. I personally have never seen so many dead fish. I would love to know who or what was responsible.

The latest is:
That its a toxic bloom but there is no confirmation yet from the Game Warden or any State Biologist....
Hope it clears cause it is/was my place to fish

Man it's sad to hear but thanks for the reports. I would have hoped all of this rain would have washed away the vestiges of the fish kill, but apparently not.
